This is almost at the "don't work" level of bug reporting.
The script no longer runs? I'm curious to know what you mean by this.
What init system are you using? What testing did you do to come to this
conclusion?

It's an init script, so it just kinda works. If it isn't then I'll need 
far more to go on than what I've got so far.

I use systemd here and it's true that script isn't used; but that's how
systemd is designed.

I just checked a virtual machine here running 3.3.9-5 with the standard
init and the init script is run.
