Package: robotfindskitten
Version: 1.7320508.406-3.1
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

Thank you for maintaining robotfindskitten in Debian! I believe that it
performs as documented. But I have some improvement suggestions related to the
game ending experience in Debian.

When quitting the game by pressing Q or ESC, the terminal is returned as soon
as Q or ESC is pressed and none of the game is anymore visible. Though I know
that the game also displays "Bye!" message in status bar, but the player cannot
see it because it shows when the game ends. I suggest that the game print
something like "You chose to quit. Bye!" to standard output after the game
quits.

Also, when robotfindskitten animation ends, the terminal is returned
immediately and none of the game remains visible. Though I know that the game
also displays "You found kitten! Way to go, robot!" message in status bar, but
the player cannot see it because it is shown when the game ends. I suggest to
display message "You found kitten! Way to go robot! Hit ESC to quit or Enter to
restart." in status bar instead and wait for player's action.

The game's info documentation indicates only two ways of quitting the game in
point 3 of Section 2.2 “Controls”: either by hitting ESC or Ctr+C. I suggest
adding “or Q” at the end of the line before “.” as quitting with Q also works.

Best wishes,
Roman Riabenko
