Package: git Version: 1:2.0.1-1 Severity: normal Thanks for maintaining git!
After upgrading git today from 1:2.0.0-2, git log -r -5.. or git log -5.. stopped working: $ git log -5.. fatal: '5..': not a non-negative integer $ git log -r -5.. fatal: '5..': not a non-negative integer git log -5 seems to behave as git log -5.. used to. If this is intended as a bugfix or removing deprecated behavior, perhaps I'll just have to change my old habits... live well, vagrant -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (120, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 armhf Kernel: Linux 3.14-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages git depends on: ii git-man 1:2.0.1-1 ii libc6 2.19-4 ii libcurl3-gnutls 7.37.0-1+b1 ii liberror-perl 0.17-1.1 ii libexpat1 2.1.0-6 ii libpcre3 1:8.31-5 ii perl-modules 5.18.2-4 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.8.dfsg-1 Versions of packages git recommends: ii less 458-2 ii openssh-client [ssh-client] 1:6.6p1-6 ii patch 2.7.1-5 ii rsync 3.1.0-3 Versions of packages git suggests: ii gettext-base 0.18.3.2-3 pn git-arch <none> pn git-cvs <none> pn git-daemon-run | git-daemon-sysvinit <none> pn git-doc <none> pn git-el <none> ii git-email 1:2.0.1-1 pn git-gui <none> pn git-mediawiki <none> ii git-svn 1:2.0.1-1 pn gitk <none> pn gitweb <none> -- no debconf information
