It seemed to play to the end, but then mouse and keyboard movement was lost in ion3. Tried to restart X with ctrl-alt-bspace, but would not respond. Hard rebooted machine and tried again to check if wasn't something I did and was completely repeatable. The second time (after the reboot) there seemed to be more artifacts left on screen from the animation.
