Package: macchanger Version: 1.7.0-1 Severity: minor Hello
I noticed you deactivate some hardening in your rules file. Since you already have compat level 9, you should probably use: export DEB_LDFLAGS_MAINT_APPEND=-Wl,-z,defs,--as-needed rather than export LDFLAGS=-Wl,-z,defs,--as-needed as the later will clear existing protection from default ! This change will clear your lintian warning http://lintian.debian.org/maintainer/da...@debian.org.html#macchanger Cheers -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.14-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages macchanger depends on: ii dpkg 1.17.10 ii install-info 5.2.0.dfsg.1-4 ii libc6 2.19-4 macchanger recommends no packages. macchanger suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
