Compiling istanbul package on mips/mipsel fails at configuring time due to a segmentation fault trying to import gst.interfaces. It works fine for all other archs. Complete Mips buildd log is available here [1]. Relevant part is: checking for python module gst... found checking for python module gst, gst.interfaces... ../configure: line 20457: 1221 Segmentation fault $PYTHON -c "$prog" 1>&5 2>&5 Where $prog is: prog=" import sys try: import gst, gst.interfaces sys.exit(0) print 'yes' except ImportError: sys.exit(1)" gst module importing from the previous check went fine, so I think the problem is in gst.interfaces.
