Package: laptop-mode-tools

Version: 1.65-1

Dear maintainer, the same bug reported by Didier Raboud hit me.

In particular, after upgrading the laptop-mode-tools package to the current
version in Jessie, the usb mouse has stopped working when the power adapter
is disconnected (computer in battery mode), when the power adapter is
reconnected after it was previously unplugged or the system is resumed
after hibernation.

I had manually to disconnect and reconnect the usb mouse to make it work
again until I found the current bug report.

The blacklisting of the usb device in
/etc/laptop-mode/conf.d/usb-autosuspend.conf has not solved the malfunction.

I had to blacklist the usb device in
/etc/laptop-mode/conf.d/runtime-pm.conf to find a solution.

This situation is quite difficult to spot, because debugging of
/etc/laptop-mode/conf.d/runtime-pm.conf is disbaled by default.

I suppose a lot of users will suffer of this configuration if it will be
shipped by default with the package.

Thanks for your attention.
