I'm trying to run tomcat8-examples application in Tomcat Web Application Manager. Deploy works fine but 'start' button return me the message: FAIL - Application at context path /examples could not be started FAIL - Encountered exception org.apache.catalina.LifecycleException: Failed to start component [StandardEngine[Catalina].StandardHost[localhost].StandardContext[/examples]] In addition to the installation, I only make the user/password in /etc/tomcat8 /tomcat-users.xml. I have tried to run another web application. Deploy is ok, but 'start' return me the message: FAIL - Application at context path /ScadaBR could not be started Maybe the problem is related.
