I am the author of zam-plugins and I have made huge improvements to the package, such as providing GUIs for all plugins. Please consider updating to the new version upstream (3.1). The new version does not require any of the old deps except for the ones listed in the readme, it is a complete rewrite. Git submodules have been removed in favour of a flat tree of files for your convenience.
