Additional information I am able to retrieve the EWS folder sizes, both from the account setup screen, and by right-clicking on the account name in the sidebar and then clicking on "Folder sizes". I can break this by setting up bogus values in the proxy configuration, so it seems that there is some sort of connection being established.
