Hi Solly, Thanks a lot for your reply. Please let me know when you have sent a first version of your backport for review (replying in this list would be best). I'd add this as a Debian specific patch even before it gets merged, so that at least, it unbreaks the console (as I'm sure nobody is happy with this new "feature"...).
