Originally no, since 5.99 was supposed to be followed very closely by 6.00. So I've been waiting on that to happen. This beta has been going on for over 3 months now though, so maybe I should update unstable until upstream is ready to release. I'll take a look at this and any other small improvements I can cherry pick from experimental.
