2014-04-16 8:32 GMT-07:00 kbtech <kbtech...@yahoo.com>: > Package: wireshark > Version: 1.10.2-1~bpo70+1 > Severity: normal > > Dear Maintainer, > * What led up to the situation? capturing voice traffic - > * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or > ineffective)?chose option for telephony, rtp, show all streams, selected > both sides of conversation with click and ctrl-click, clicked analyze, clicked > player, decode, selected both windows, and clicked play - I believe I should > see and hear the call > * What was the outcome of this action?no representation of the call > graphically or audibly > * What outcome did you expect instead?I should see a line graph and hear > that call through speakers. I checked with FAX-Call-t38-CA-TDM-SIP-FB-1.pcap on http://wiki.wireshark.org/SampleCaptures#SIP_and_RTP and I could hear the call but I could not see it. Your RTP sample may have been encoded in a way not supported by Wireshark. For the record 1.8.x does not have the problem.
