Ok, thanks for testing. Re-assigning to acpi-support-base and merging with the existing bug report. This issue has been fixed in the acpi-support-base package in unstable and should reach testing in a few day. > I don't know much (yet) about systemd, just switched over a few days > ago, but now I'm wondering if it makes sense to uninstall all the acpi > stuff - is all of acpi's functionality now being handled by systemd, or > is there a good reason to keep acpi(d) installed on my system? If you simply want to handle the power events like lid switch etc and suspend, poweroff or hibernate, you don't need acpi-support-base and you can safely uninstall it. As for laptop-mode-tools, I generally don't bother installing that package on my laptop. > Is there any good debian documentation of systemd that answers some of > the basic questions for users? There is a *lot* of documentation. It's hard to say what you are interested in. You might have a look at http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/systemd/ and start with the "The systemd for Administrators Blog Series". This is also very useful for regular users. -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
