I am. To test this, I created a new user, with just the skeleton home and no .xmonad.hs. This resulted in a non-functioning "GNOME with Xmonad" session (from the gdm3 login screen): there were no GNOME panels (like there is in the wheezy version of the session), and after about a minute or two a dialog box popped up saying there was a problem. With my normal user login, in the GNOME+Xmonad session, same dialog pops up. With your code changes, the dialog does not happen, but I'm still having issues (no panel; switching desktops makes windows lose focus but stay on the screen; and other things), which I'll investigate and, if need be, report separately.
