Package: ftp.debian.org Severity: wishlist Please provide checksum files for parts of the archive such as:
ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian/README ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian/docs/* ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian/tools/* Those files are useful for generating debian-installer images, though other files may be of use for other purposes. Seems like all files in the archive should have some chain of verification, ideally. Something similar to /debian/dists/*/{*Release*,SHA256SUMS,MD5SUMS} with gpg signatures would be perfect...
