One of linSmith's users drew my attention to this bug report.

This seems to point some blame in my direction - but this warning does
not appear in my system (gcc 4.8.2). I just recompiled to make sure.

Admittedly, I'm compiling version 0.99.26, which has been out for
almost a year, and which didn't make it into Debian yet.

On the other hand, though I'm probably not the best programmer around,
I pride myself in not distributing software which compiles with errors
or warnings.
