Package: gdb
Version: 7.7.1-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?

Attempting to debug icedove in unstable on i386 architecture.

Opening an attachment outside of gdb results in:

Segmentation fault

but opening an attachment in icedove under gdb results in:

Cannot find user-level thread for LWP 28935: generic error

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

I tried removing
libc6-x32:i386

and

libc6-i686:i386

   * What was the outcome of this action?

same problems.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

some means of debugging icedove on i386.

see #751077
