It would be useful if the logs generated on buildds would include full invocations of build tools. Unfortunately autotools based projects started to default to "silent rules". It has become clear in #680686, that the debhelper maintainer is unwilling to pass --disable-silent-rules to autotools by default, but he was willing to pass that flag if DH_VERBOSE is set to something non-empty (see #751207). So can we activate this debhelper feature on the buildds by exporting DH_VERBOSE=1?
