Commit b315da9ea4e3a94300aef612acf1029c7bf90d59 upstream will hopefully fix this. It will be in the next release, but Debian may want to pre-apply it.
That said, upstream at least doesn't think sparc is a popular arch for iv3d (without checking popcon), so maybe just dropping a sparc build is an acceptable temporary solution.
