Package: genisoimage
Version: 9:1.1.11-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

According to information found via Web search, the old mkisofs supported
a '-xa' option, to create XA-format ISO filesystems. (Exactly what the
differences between that and a non-XA filesystem are is not clear at a
glance, but testing confirms that they do exist.)

Since genisoimage is descended from mkisofs, it seemed likely that it
should also support the same option, but the man page does not mention
any such option.

However, in my testing, genisoimage does accept the '-xa' option, and
does generate a different image with that option - including various
obviously XA-related tags in the generated (meta?)data.

Please document the '-xa' option in the genisoimage man page.

It may also be worth reviewing the code to identify any other
undocumented command-line options, and adding man-page documentation for
any such which are found.
