Package: steam Version: 1.0.0.47-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
On a mixed system it is possible to install steam for testing on a plain stable (wheezy) installation without upgrading any library. Running steam downloads the data and installs though starting leads to following error: Running Steam on debian 64-bit STEAM_RUNTIME is enabled automatically Error: You are missing the following 32-bit libraries, and Steam may not run: libc.so.6 Error: You are missing the following 32-bit libraries, and Steam may not run: libc.so.6 Press enter to continue: Error: Couldn't find bootstrap, it's not safe to reset Steam. Please contact technical support. Seems to me that the minimum version of libc6 should be raised in the dependencies of this package.
