I installed Debian Testing, where now the default desktop is XFCE.
With XFCE and LXDE desktop the file utility for compression is xarchiver

Aditionally, I installed the "p7zip-full" package
But I can't open archives that where compressed in Gnome desktop with
file-roller utility in 7z format using password. I can open this files
in Gnome and even in Windows, but no with xarchiver.
The error it is really easy to reproduce. Just compress a file in 7z
format with password , and you can't open with xarchiver.
You can say it is not an error because maybe xarchiver doesn't support
compressed files with password, but it's a lack of funcionality too big.
As a desktop user I expect to open or create compressed files with
password to protect the content.
