Dear maintainer, We're aiming to migrate the archive to using wxwidgets3.0 instead of wxwidgets2.8, and intend to drop wxwidgets2.8 before jessie is released. I tried rebuilding the current sitplus package with the B-D updated, but the build fails. Looking at upstream's website, I see there's a newer release 1.1.0 made 2013-04-23: http://sourceforge.net/projects/sitplus/files/1.1.0/ While this release pre-dates the wx3.0.0 release, it may have fixes for compatibility with wx2.9.x (the development series which lead to 3.0.0). It would probably make sense to update to 1.1.0 first even if further fixes are needed to work with wx3.0. If you hit any problems with getting packages working with wxwidgets3.0 which you can't overcome, let me know and I'll try to help.
