I am unsure if this is the same issue, but the support for HiDPI is getting almost ready: https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=143619 Josh, if you agree this is the same issue as yours, I can update the upstream reference in the BTS (which currently points to a wontfix bug). With 124dpi, you are in the described used case (ratio >= 1.25). From the bug report, it seems that HiDPI support can be enabled with `-Denable_hidpi=1`. It is unclear if the reported brokenness is still present in Chromium 36. -- panic("Aarggh: attempting to free lock with active wait queue - shoot Andy"); 2.0.38 /usr/src/linux/fs/locks.c
