Hi, Thanks for applying my first patch. It has been 2 years. It is about time to fix this.
I agree this first patch is the best option as I rethink. Let me comment on the hardcoded values. They were the same values in kernel then (2012/Feb) which should be 3.2.0 or 3.1.0.
