Hmmm, I suspect that I sent the call for translation updates in our (debian-l10n-french) mailing list before the changes were made, which may explain. The translator has been fairly slow in going through our review process, indeed (this is a new translator and he needs to get used to our processes). I indeed waited for quite a long time for him to send the update and, as he finally didn't, I sent the bug report myself. I just sent a call for update and I hope it won't take weeks for the update process to run.....but nobody knows...:-). > > >If you do not already use it, you might consider using the > >"podebconf-report-po" utility, which helps warning translators about > >changes when you modify some debconf templates in your packages. > > > >The usual policy [...] > > We tried this for the 0.98.3 template update, but the resonance wasn't very > great: Only updates for two languages were sent to us. Yes, nowadays, we have hard times motivating translators....or sometimes the people who did translations (sometimes years ago) vanished, etc. Still, I recommend going through the "call for translations" process that helps the still working l10n teams to do their job... Anyway, thanks for your answer and I hope we'll soon converge to have a fully translated French translation (it's quite likely that I do it myself in case nothing comes).
