Package: deja-dup Version: 30.0-1 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
Several times, I have started backing up, and then for whatever reason I have cancelled it, and maybe switched the computer off and then back on again later. I then go to it through the menu, and I see the overview, and it says 'last backup was ... days ago' and 'next backup is today' or similar, but the 'Restore...' and 'Back Up Now...' buttons are greyed out and can't be clicked on. Often when this happens, I can launch system monitor, and it turns out that it is already running in the background, but for whatever reason there is no window or system tray showing, to inform me of that. The wording given is misleading on this page because it implies that it needs to be backed up, but also that it isn't doing so currently - and won't let you click a button to do that. When it is occurring ideally either one of the two sections in the overview would say 'Back Up In Process Now' or similar, and there would be buttons, like you get sometimes on the system tray item, offering to 'show progress' etc. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing-updates APT policy: (500, 'testing-updates'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.14-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages deja-dup depends on: ii dconf-gsettings-backend [gsettings-backend] 0.20.0-2 ii duplicity 0.6.23-1 ii libatk1.0-0 2.12.0-1 ii libc6 2.18-7 ii libcairo-gobject2 1.12.16-2 ii libcairo2 1.12.16-2 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.30.7-1 ii libgirepository-1.0-1 1.40.0-2 ii libglib2.0-0 2.40.0-3 ii libgtk-3-0 3.12.2-1 ii libnautilus-extension1a 3.8.2-3 ii libnotify4 0.7.6-2 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.36.3-1 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.36.3-1 ii libpeas-1.0-0 1.10.0-2 ii libsecret-1-0 0.18-1 Versions of packages deja-dup recommends: ii gvfs-backends 1.20.1-1+b1 ii openssh-client [ssh-client] 1:6.6p1-5 ii python-boto 2.27.0-1 ii python-cloudfiles 1.7.11-2 deja-dup suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
