Wouldn't it be possible to let the user decide by himself via `update-alternatives`? The discussion may converge as well on the default symlink, but at least one could use some moreutil's tools in pair with gnu parallel. For example, consider the following use case: $ cat foo.txt | parallel ./bar.sh | sponge foo.txt Which is right now not possible in debian jessie. -- m. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
