lsusb gives the same result as Pierre already mentioned.
| Bus 003 Device 002: ID 0a12:0001 Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd Bluetooth Dongle (HCI mode) I just want to add that I got exactly the same issue. All looks like it initialises fine. I get about the same output for hciconfig and all. But discoverable devices here (my phone) won't show up in a scan. Also a direct pairing attempt, knowing the MAC of the other device, fails: | hcitool cc 11.22.33.44.55.66 (my known MAC of the remote device instead) | Device is not available. My kernel is 3.14-1-686-pae. Bluez is Version: 4.101-4.1. OS is Debian Jessie (testing now as I write this). It's strange all seems to work but scanning and pairing fails. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
