Hi,

According to this upstream reply, I have a temporary work around this
problem, if we are using desktop environments other than KDE.

I am in XFCE, so I don't have the "system settings/notifications".

I installed it firstly:
# apt-get install systemsettings

and then, run it on terminal emulator, because XFCE does not have its
icon.
$ systemsettings

then, I can follow the upstream's instruction to click the
"notification" tap, and decrease or mute the KDE system notification
sounds.

Thanks again for your great work. I think this bug can be closed.

Sincerely,
Bo
