Hi!

I have verified that the 3.15-rc5 kernel on experimental works as expected,
the fix works, unfortunately, Lukas, I'm afraid it also breaks your setup,
this is what I have verified:

# ip link add br1 address fc:cc:cc:cc:cc:cc type bridge
# ip link set br1 up
# ip a s dev br1
6: br1: <NO-CARRIER,BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP> mtu 1500 qdisc noqueue state DOWN
group default
    link/ether fc:cc:cc:cc:cc:cc brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff

Lukas, can you install the 3.15-rc5 kernel from experimental and see how it
behaves?

Regards.
