I upgraded VLC to 2.1.4 today and started seeing the video step back a
few frames every second or two. Downgrading back to 2.1.2 removes the
problem. Debug messages don't show up anything out of the ordinary.
The video streams I'm watching are DVB-C transport streams from a VDR
streamdev server.
Switching back and forth between ALSA and PulseAudio does not seem to
change the bug at all for me, so I'm possibly having a different issue
than the first reporter... This bug# was the closest existing bug id.
