Thank you for your message. Your patch is not really for Alpine, but for
the c-client library, as such, you should attempt to get it included in
it. The current library that Alpine uses (with a few minor modifications)
is located at
https://github.com/jonabbey/panda-imap
I am also concerned that you are patching pith/mailview.c. Why is that the
case? Why is it necessary now and was not necessary before?
