Package: lxc
Version: 1.0.3-1
Followup-For: Bug #745670

Dear Maintainer,

as far as I know now

lxc.service:
ExecStartPre=/usr/libexec/lxc/lxc-devsetup
ExecStart=/usr/libexec/lxc/lxc-startup start
ExecStop=/usr/libexec/lxc/lxc-startup stop

were set this way to make the users of lxc aware that there is no lxc-autostart
for the time of creating the lxc.service script, so people had to provide an
own implementation. Now it exists, lxc-autostart is implemented in
/etc/init.d/lxc.
Since lxc has lxc-autostart now ExecStart and ExecStop had to be set
accordingly.

But im not so sure about lxc-devsetup in ExeStartPre. It is not being used in
/etc/init.d/lxc (I do not know wether sysvinit script works, it uses lxc-
autostart).
To go on lxc-devsetup /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/lxc/lxc-devsetup (paths of
amd64 platform) uses [[ and ]], despite the fact that dash complains about it.
I think it does not exist in dash.
So the file is buggy and should not be used unaltered.
I do not know wether lxc-devsetup is needed at all for lxc.service.

In case you want to setup lxc.service to work you have to change/remove
ExecStartPre or lxc-devsetup.

cheers,
Lim
