Package: dpkg-sig

Severity: normal

This is dpkg-sig_0.13.1+nmu1_all.deb as downloaded from
https://packages.debian.org/sid/all/dpkg-sig/download aka
http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/main/d/dpkg-sig/dpkg-sig_0.13.1+nmu1_all.deb

$ dpkg-sig -c -v dpkg-sig_0.13.1+nmu1_all.deb
Processing dpkg-sig_0.13.1+nmu1_all.deb...
$ dpkg-sig -l -v dpkg-sig_0.13.1+nmu1_all.deb
Processing dpkg-sig_0.13.1+nmu1_all.deb...
$ dpkg-sig -c -v dpkg-sig_0.13.1+nmu1_all.deb
Processing dpkg-sig_0.13.1+nmu1_all.deb...
$ echo $?
0

What's exactly the point of all these commands and options?

Shouldn't --list show the list of all the signatures as documented in
the manpage? And shouldn't -c -v tell me what signatures it is
processing?

What should be fixed? The command, or the man page and the --help output?

Thanks,
*t
