Here is the log file for 2.70-1:

May 17 20:25:19 sylvester dnsmasq[2805]: started, version 2.70 cachesize 150
May 17 20:25:19 sylvester dnsmasq[2805]: compile time options: IPv6 GNU-getopt
DBus i18n IDN DHCP DHCPv6 no-Lua TFTP conntrack ipset auth DNSSEC
May 17 20:25:19 sylvester dnsmasq-dhcp[2805]: DHCP, IP range 10.10.100.128 --
10.10.100.254, lease time 12h
May 17 20:25:19 sylvester dnsmasq[2805]: using local addresses only for domain
example.de
May 17 20:25:19 sylvester dnsmasq[2805]: using nameserver 10.10.100.1#53
May 17 20:25:19 sylvester dnsmasq[2805]: no servers found in
/var/run/dnsmasq/resolv.conf, will retry
May 17 20:25:19 sylvester dnsmasq[2805]: read /etc/hosts - 12 addresses

No lines about "DBus support" or "local subnets". The compile time
options seem to be the same.

If I run dnsdomainname on the server or the client, then I
_do_ get the expected "example.de". Even if there is a new
"anti-open-DNS server" facility, dnsmasq should work for hosts
in example.de.

Since my local net is 10.10.100.0/24, but DHCP is defined for
10.10.100.128/25 only, I wonder if I have to specify an IP subnet
somewhere? I haven't seen this in the config file.

Regards
Harri
