Package: libglide3
Version: 2002.04.10-11
Severity: normal

I don't know where to file this bug exactly, but this seems like a nice
starting point. I got a Voodoo3 card here and felt like experimenting with
it a bit. Anyway, things didn't work very well. X did enable direct
rendering, but glxgears still used sw rendering, and glxinfo also said
direct rendering is disabled.

After running strace I noticed it was looking for libglide3_h[35] (don't
know which one exactly) in many places, but not the one place where they
actually are: /usr/lib/glide3. Making some symlinks did the job, now
everything seems to work.

Although Quake2 give me a mere 21 frames/sec, which doesn't seem normal
to me BTW...
