Hmmm. Am going to have to try this again, it was a while since I reported
the bug.

However my recollection is that I couldn't set  ppolicy_default to a value
that doesn't exist. I kept getting the error that object does not exist or
similar.

Unfortunately I don't seem to have quoted this error in the bug report :-(
as I thought this was the wrong approach.

Starting from a clean slapd install in wheezy or sid, following these steps:

This was with the version in wheezy from memory. Will double check again on
Monday (UTC+10). Just to make sure I didn't get confused with the Squeeze
version or something else equally stupid.
