Santiago, it would help me adjusting my idea about maintaining R packages if you could have a look at https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=617296#96 Besides the fact that the hint from Dirk is not really the style I like it I'm interested to learn whether users (like you obviously) might have some suggestion to enhance the situation.
