Package: git-buildpackage
Version: 0.6.13
Severity: minor

Dear Maintainer,

I have these lines in ~/.gbp.conf:

  [git-buildpackage]
  postbuild = lintian $GBP_CHANGES_FILE

And when lintian reports any error (E: ...) gbp gives this message:

  gbp:error: Couldn't run 'lintian $GBP_CHANGES_FILE': lintian
$GBP_CHANGES_FILE returned 1

I think the error message is misleading: it says gbp couldn't run the
command, but the command was executed, I see the output from lintian;
I think that what happened is just that lintian returned a non-zero
value because it found errors in the package; to further confirm this:
as soon I fix all the linitan errors in the package this message also
goes away.

Thanks,
   Antonio
