Good news so far in that I have seen no ill-effects from zapping resolvconf and sysv-rc in favor of openrc. The only gotcha I have seen so far was I needed to upgrade the VMware Player software I had on the machine. Not a huge deal as I probably should have done that a while ago. May mean a reinstall of VMware, though. > On a related note--maybe--in th past I relied on hal to provide group > powerdev, of which I was a member. Not sure exactly when hal was > obsoleted. This seems to be a red herring so can be ignored, I believe. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
