Package: python-vobject
Version: 0.8.1c-4
Severity: wishlist
Tags: upstream

it would be nice to have python-vobject supported under python3; in my
personal list of packages i need ported to 3, it is the last remaining
one.

plain 2to3 does not do the trick, but everything else seems to be some
import handling and much string handling.

it seems to me that upstream has abandoned this project, so it might be
worth coordinating if and how to do bigger changes with other
distributions.
