Hi Nicolas, it sounds like a cdrecord or cdrdao problem since k3b doesn't issue SCSI commands directly. Have you tried to run: cdrdao scanbus and cdrecord -scanbus (as root) to see if you can manually trigger these SCSI errors in your logs? If you can narrow down the problem to one of these tools, then we will be able to reassign the bug to the right package.
