Icedove on testing/jessie depends on libffi6 not on libffi5 as visible on
the Debian package site [1] and via apt-cache

$ apt-cache show icedove | grep libffi
Depends: ... libffi6 (>= 3.0.4) ...

or via your mail to the BTS.

So you may have some pinning done in your sources?
