There are multiple preseed files. Attached, there is my preseed file for installing the packages. Relevant for reproducable of this misbehavior is the package ntfs-3g: ...> snip <... > btrfs-tools cifs-utils dosfstools extlinux gvfs \ > gvfs-backends gvfs-bin mtools ntfs-3g syslinux xfsdump \ > xfsprogs \ ...> snip <... The package ntfs-3g depends on the package fuse. If i remove the package ntfs-3g from my preseed file, installation of Debian Jessie is successfully. Did you try to reproduce this misbehavior on 32-Bit i386 system? Or did you try to reproduce this on a 64-Bit amd64 system? As described on bug #745416, this misbehavior is only present on system with 32-Bit 686-pae system. Which log file do you need? The syslog stored in /var/log/installer? If you need more informations, please let me know. Best regards and thank you for your support Bernhard
