Hi althaser, I switched to Iceweasel, but I tried it and it doesn't work for me. I downloaded Firefox 29 from mozilla and extracted it to /opt/, linked it to /usr/local/bin/ and did choose it as default in its own dialogue. Now there is Firefox chosen in gnome-control-center, but links from other applications e.g. still open Iceweasel.
