Great, thanks for updating it! I was going to submit a patch to build
and ship a shared library for libmongoclient in addition to the static
library, but that was before I realized that it is likely disabled due
to lack of an SONAME[1].
Dealing with the static library is frustrating (such as detecting
whether openssl needs to be linked into the resulting binary, which
changed in 2.4.8-1), but it probably needs to be resolved upstream
rather than in the packaging.
