Upstream fixed in byobu what triggered this crash in Screen. So far the issue only surfaced with byobu 5.77 and it has been fixed with byobu 5.78 which was released just now. Since the issue seems to affect to all byobu users, which use the screen backend and use Ctrl-A as escape sequence (and only byobu users but not pure screen users), please upload byobu 5.78 soonish.
