Package: ddclient
Version: 3.8.0-11.5
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

as Dyn DNS are ending their free service, using them should no longer be the
default
setting. Moreover, I seem to be unable to switch to any free service like
Afraid Org or Dt
DNS as their protocols are not supported. Switching to the version from
'testing' is not
possible either as the new protocols fail − some dependencies seem to be
missing; manually
installing what is needed seems to require switching to 'testing' entirely.

Plaese consider making the 'testing' version available to 'stable' users,
possibly through
'debian-backports'.
